Article-2:

Overwhelming Public Support For Australian Renewable Energy Target:

From 2014 Australia’s concern has shifted towards the environment rather than immigration issues. 82% of the people have votes for Renewable Energy Targets(RET). This highlights that the face of Australian politics is changing and their concern is shifting towards issues that demand more attention. 82% wanted RET to remain and 17% were arguing on the opposite side and 6% were still undecided. Andrew Richards, Executive Manager External Affairs for Pacific Hydro, the Australian renewable energy company mentions that despite of launching attacks on RET for the past one year, people have finally made up their mind of their need for more energy and not less. This is a clear indication that the people of Australia want their Government to target a common vision-Australia as the world leader of Renewable Energy.

  1. I would say australia has made a very good decision in going the Renewable Energy way. This makes them less dependent on oil and gas thus making a vast of Natural resources.
